What is Coaching?

It is a supportive and encouraging relationship with a professionally trained person [often a psychologist] who assists you in self-growth and gaining wisdom about yourself. It concerns you holistically and therefore embraces all aspects of your life both work and home. It looks at many aspects of self; emotionally, intellectually, physically, spiritually and socially.

It provides a structure for you to solve your problems and explore your creativity. It helps you to really look deeply at what you want for your life and what is driving you to achieve it.

It is not psychotherapy and it does not focus as much on the past as it does on the future.

What you will be tomorrow depends on the choices you make today.

It is about:

  • Finding solutions creatively
  • Reaching realistic and healthy goals
  • Focusing and achieving fearlessly

It involves:

  • Strategy
  • Discussion
  • Collaboration
  • Investment
  • Balance
  • Flexibility
  • Action and pro-action
